DESCRIPTION:
Ansonia Clock Co., New York, "Fantasy" Figure Clock with a spring driven, 8 day, time and strike movement visible escapement) in a cast metal and enameled iron case.
CONDITION:
The case is in excellent condition with some of the original Japanese bronze finish remaining. The porcelain dial has one small hairline crack by the strike winding arbor. The hands are original. The movement is signed. The bezel glass is convex with beveled edging and may be a replacement.
